Pleated sinter filters (SF)

General Description

ASCO pleated sinter cartridges
The SF series cartridges are manufactured with sintered metal micro-fibers, uniformly distributed to create a 3D filtering structure.
In order to offer a superior mechanical strength and a better drainability, the filter media is joined using an additional sintering process with one or two wire meshes.
In accordance with the specific application, different filter media configurations are available:
1. Mono layer for not critical application: e.g. steam.
2. Double layer for surface filtration: e.g. catalyst recovery.
3. Multi layer for depth filtration: e.g. high viscosity fluids, gel separation,...
In order to offer the highest quality product, ASCO Filtri selects for its SF series cartridges the Bekipor® filter media manufactured from Bekaert NV, world leader in sintered metal fibers production.
The SF series cartridges are specifically designed for viscous or corrosive fluids, or those with high viscosity.
  • Absolute rated filtration
  • 3 times greater dirt holding capacity than conventional metal cartridges
  • Double the porosity and permeability than sintered metal powder cartridges
  • 4 times higher flow rate than conventional metal cartridges
  • No media migration or fiber release
  • Excellent mechanical strength
  • Reclothing design available
